General conditions

Registration (New Student): 50 euros.

• The fee will be left in trust to begin the week of testing.
• If this week is satisfactory this amount will be taken as formal registration and the trial week is included in the first payment of the course (quarterly).
• If the test is not satisfactory the full amount of the registration will be returned.

 Modes of payment

• Bank transfer to our "La Caixa" Current Account, Number: nº 2100 0708 82 0200177066
• Cheque made out to Callan School of English.
• By credit card.
• In cash.

Level test:

If you didn't study with us before or if it's been a longtime, a level test is necessary in order to determine what real English level is. This is your test level:

• It's totally FREE and doesn't imply any commitment.
  
• It's 20 minutes long (oral and written).
• You can make an appointment calling: 93 415 54 52 prior to registration.

Timetables and conditions

• Each class hour consists of 50 lective minutes and a 10 minutes break.
• If you want to recuperate any class contact Secretary and they will indicate you which is the best class to do it, as long as there are places available.
• Group lessons will only be recovered in the actual contracted course (week, month or term) and as long as there are places available.
• "One to one" and "one to two" courses will only ben recovered 48 h prior notice, always inside the contracted monthly payment (maximum 6 changes a month).
  
• Intensive individual courses must be contracted for consecutive weeks for being able to benefit from the applied discounts. In these courses, private classes cannot be cancelled or changed and they have a fixed timetable from 11,00 to 13,00.
• Students who attend less than 75% of the course, fail to complete the compositions or attain lower than 55% in the end of course exam, will NOT be awarded a certificate at the end of the course.
• Callan School reserves the right not to open the class if it doesn't reach the minimum number of students (4)
  

• Holidays calendar and not lective days ( cannot be recovered as they do not belong to the lective calendar):
  • Christmas (December 23^st to January ^8th inclusive)
  • Easter (from April 2^nd to April 9^th inclusive)
  • October 12^th and 31^st 2011
  • November 1^st 2011
  • December 5^th, 6^th and 8^th 2011
  • January 9^th and 10^th 2012
  • March 26^th and 27^th 2012
  • May 28^th 2012

• Lective material is included in the courses. In case of loss or theft, the student will have to pay 30 eruos for its replacement.
• Total or partial reproduction of any material (books, cassettes or CD's) from Callan Method is totally forbidden as they are protected by the Copyright law. 

Cancellation and payments

• If students cancel their classes once they started the course, they will have to pay the total amount.
• No-assistance doesn't imply no-payment in any context.
  
• Fees will not be recovered once the course has started.
• Indicated prices are per person.
• Divided payment will not be allowed.
• If a student wants to cancel his or her enscription he or she will have to notify the secretary 15 days before the beginning of the term.

Personal information protection

• Personal information protection policy: in accordance to with the statutory law of protection of personal data 15/13 December 1999. Callan School of English, SL here informs students that their personal data covered by these general conditions will be held in a file (whose owner and holder is Callan School of ENglish, SL) for commercial and operative purposes of promotion or information on any related subject. The acceptance of these general conditions implies consent to carry out this treatment and use with these purposes. Also we inform you of the possibility of exercising the rights of access, rectification and cancellation in the terms established in the effective legislation (see above).
• The fact of registration indicates acceptance of and agreement to abide by these conditions.
